The US Virgin Islands Attorney General Sued JPMorgan Chase for a Sex-Trafficking Activities on Little St. James Island
Neither of the banks would comment on the passages that have just been made public. But after the US Virgin Islands attorney general sued JPMorgan Chase in December — claiming that the bank should have known about Epstein’s activities on Little St. James Island, the island he owned off the coast of St. Thomas — the bank moved to dismiss the suit.
The women say that there was special treatment given to the sex-trafficking venture, which allowed it to continue its operation and sexual abuse.
The US Virgin Islands settled their lawsuit against the estate for over 105 million dollars in November, along with an agreement that will end business operations there.
After a family reported that Epstein had sexually abused her daughter in 2005, police in Palm Beach opened an investigation that led to a guilty plea three years later. Under the terms of the state’s deal with him, he was forced to register as a sex predator and pay back money to his victims.
Both JP Morgan Chase andDeutsche refused to discuss the ruling when contacted by NPR. Both banks have denied having knowledge of Epstein’s alleged crimes.
The settlement states that 50% of the proceeds from the sale of Little St. James island should go to the territory.

The filing states that in July of 2010 Staley sent an email with the subject “Say hi to Snow White.” I would like to hear about the next character you would like. When Staley said “Beauty and the Beast,” Epstein replied: “Well one side is available.” Virgin Islands lawyers claim references to Disney princesses were code words for young women.
The company’s move to focus on Staley caused a backlash from an attorney for the U.S. Virgin Islands. She said Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan Chase, was aware of the abuse.
The suits were brought by at least one of the girls and were on behalf of all the other girls.

The suits can move forward to examine other legal questions after Raskoff denied other claims made in the motions to dismiss.
In 2008 he was sentenced to 13 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to procuring an under age prostitution in Florida. The case had been well-documented by local and national media.
